We’re thrilled to introduce PRP Facial and PRP Facelift to Still Well by Dr. Stilwell! You may have heard of PRP (platelet-rich plasma), a concentrated portion of your own blood that helps promote cellular renewal and healing. At Still Well by Dr. Stilwell, we are pleased to offer PRF (platelet-rich fibrin), a more potent and longer-lasting mix of healing properties. PRF also includes stem cells to deliver superior cellular revitalization and aesthetic results!

Since its debut to the aesthetic world, the popularity of PRP/PRF has only grown, and for good reason. These all-natural anti-aging treatments do wonders to help tighten, smooth and renew skin. At Still Well by Dr. Stilwell, PRP Facial and PRP Facelift use PRF to help improve the appearance of:

● Lines and wrinkles

● Crepey skin

● Pores

● Skin texture

● Dullness

● Acne scars and other scars

● Stretch marks

● Lax skin

● Sun damage

● Aging skin

● Much more!

How is PRF prepared?

When you arrive for your PRP Facial or PRP Facelift treatment, you will sit comfortably in our office while we draw a small portion of your blood and prepare it in a special centrifuge designed for PRF. Compared to traditional PRP machines, PRF centrifuges spin more slowly, helping to preserve stem cells and other nutrients for a more effective and long-lasting mixture of healing properties. Within a few minutes, your PRF mixture will be ready for your PRP Facial or Facelift.

What can I expect during my PRP Facial?

Prior to your PRP Facial, we will numb your face, neck or other treatment area. After we prepare your PRF, you’ll be ready for your PRP Facial. This process involves microneedling your treatment areas while applying PRF topically to skin. Microneedling creates micro-channels (tiny holes) in your skin which deeply absorb your PRF while also acting synergistically to spur cellular renewal.

How does a PRP Facelift work?

During your PRP Facelift, we will inject your carefully prepared PRF into the specific treatment areas of your face. This process will help boost blood flow, restore lost volume and trigger healing from within.

Is there downtime with a PRP Facial or Facelift?

PRP Facials may involve up to a week of downtime, allowing your skin to fully renew itself from the microneedling. With a PRP Facelift, as with any injectable treatment, you may experience a few days of swelling, slight redness or pinpoint bleeding. These are all signs that your skin is renewing itself and should subside naturally in the days following your treatment.

Am I a good candidate for a PRP Facial or Facelift?

A PRF facial/facelift may be a well-suited treatment for you! Since PRF is completely natural and made from your own blood, there’s almost no risk for allergic reaction. It’s also important to note that PRF is a well-tested and proven healing substance used by oral surgeons, sports medicine doctors and physicians around the world. We are proud to now offer this clinically proven healing tool for you!
